These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://sjor.health (the “Site”) and any related content, tools, features, products, subscriptions, or services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

The Site and Services are operated by Sjór Life, LLC, doing business as Sjór Health (“Sjór Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the Site, creating an account, purchasing products, or using any Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE

These Terms contain binding arbitration provisions, a waiver of class actions, and a waiver of the right to a jury trial. Please read Sections 14–16 carefully. These provisions affect how disputes between you and Sjór Health are resolved.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, create an account, or purchase products. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Site or Services.

2. Privacy

Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy.

The Site and Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or unavailability.

5. Limited License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal use only, subject to these Terms. This license may be revoked at any time if you violate these Terms.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not, directly or indirectly:

  • impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;

  • use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;

  • interfere with Site security or functionality;

  • scrape, crawl, or access the Site using automated tools without permission;

  • upload malware, viruses, or malicious code;

  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;

  • remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;

  • suggest endorsement or affiliation with Sjór Health without authorization;

  • resell or distribute our products without written approval.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

7. Accounts

Certain features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Notify us immediately at care@sjor.health if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate information, but content on the Site may contain errors or omissions. We reserve the right to correct information and update content at any time without notice.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for their practices.

10. User Submissions

If you submit reviews, comments, messages, or other content (“User Submissions”), you represent that you have the right to do so and that your submissions do not violate any laws or third-party rights.

You grant Sjór Health a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute User Submissions for business purposes.

Do not submit sensitive personal or medical information through public Site features.

11. Purchases

Purchases made through the Site may require payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

Subscriptions and recurring purchases are governed by our Subscription Terms.

12. No Medical Advice

Content on the Site is for educational and informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using supplements or making health decisions. If you submit questions to us or to third parties who have agreed to communicate with our users, neither our employees nor any third parties are authorized to provide medical or other professional advice through the Services .Also, the statements on our site and on the label have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

13. Disclaimers

The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sjór Health shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to us in the prior 12 months.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sjór Health (Sjór Life, LLC) from claims arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

16. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Waivers

Disputes must be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except for small-claims matters or injunctive relief. Class actions are waived. Jury trials are waived.

Governing law: State of New York, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
